Luna de miel is Spanish for honeymoon. And so, Deborah and myself departed to Colombia for 25 days of post-nuptial bliss. Between the frenzies of our wedding and a full house renovation, there had been scarce time to plan the honeymoon. So we were winging it.
Arriving in the country and stepping onto the tarmac, I was instantly struck by the waves of heat and humidity. Even in my Lululemon khakis, this Canadian polar bear knew he was going to sweat. Fortunately, Cartagena is renown as a Carribean naval center and I would soon be basking in beach paradise.
